Weight management

Are you tired of carrying around all that extra weight? Fed up of diets that haven’t worked? You want to change and may have all the information on how to do it, but you realise that knowing what to do is not enough. 
So hypnosis may be the answer for you.  It allows you to enter into a deep state of relaxation and intense mental focus that can help you re-programme old attitudes and beliefs about eating and maintaining a healthy weight.  The reasons why you eat when you are not hungry are explored in order that you effectively change your behaviour and your attitude to food, for long term success. While you are in hypnosis, your subconscious mind is more to the forefront and is thus more amenable to the positive and beneficial suggestions that will become a natural part of new behaviours.  These suggestions are designed to boost your commitment to your goal of becoming a slimmer, thinner you.
While it's not magic, hypnosis, when used as part of an overall program of behavioral modification and attitude adjustment, can be that extra dimension your weight management program needs for long-term success.  As part of the programme you will be taught self hypnosis.  More and more people are using self-hypnosis to enable themselves to be the best they can be. Once you have learned self-hypnosis, it is a tool you can use for the rest of your life to reinforce your healthy lifestyle.  You know that if you continue to do the same old things in the same old way, that nothing will change, so why not learn to use hypnosis to help you manage your behaviour to become healthier and happier? 

Weight management Programme

Over a third of the work I do centres on helping people manage their weight. Whilst it is possible for a client to achieve results after one session I recommend at least three sessions.  Weight loss sessions are very involved as the weight management clients brings many issues to the table which may include emotional issues, negative habits, self esteem issues as well as continual nagging thoughts about food and eating.

Session 1: Session 2: (a week to a fortnight later)

This programme is designed for groups or individuals.
Depending on the number of participants, sessions vary in length between 1 to 2 hours in length. For group sessions class sizes are restricted to 10 participants maximum and 4 persons minimum. Group sessions will be advertised periodically. If you and a group of your friends are interested in booking a group session please contact me at 087 967 1237. CDs and worksheets are provided free of charge. You are required to practice self hypnosis and listen to your CDs in  between sessions.
A programme schedule is decided at the outset of the course. The session content may be adjusted to suit the needs of the individuals or group.
Fees:
Group Sessions: €250 per person for four sessions (€100 non refundable deposit, balance to be paid at the start of the first session)
Individual Sessions: €100 investment per session
Warning
Please note that there may be medical reasons for weight gain other than overeating. You are responsible for your own health and are advised to seek the opinion of your GP before attending the programme.  If you have been diagnosed as obese you will not be accepted on the programme without a signed medical referral form.  Please contact me for a blank medical referral form.
