Interview Preparation

I have helped many people down through the years in my roles as educator and as a coach and hypnotist to conquer their anxieties about interviews. I also come from the corporate world and have a lot of experience both as an interviewee and as an interviewer for management, technical and support jobs.  So I know what to look out for.

Are you in one of the following situations?

  • It is your first ever job interview and you are unsure of the process?
  • It is your first ever job interview and you are very nervous that you won’t come across well.
  • You are going for a very important job and you are very anxious about the interview process.  You have done all the research on the company, but you are a bag of nerves and it’s vital that you come across cool and confident.
  • You have been out of the workplace a long time and you are anxious about interviews.
  • You would like some help with preparing for the interview. You also need advice  on the CV?
  • It’s a panel interview and you are worried about not standing out in the crowd.
  • You would like to do a mock interview in front of someone who will give you constructive criticism.  A recording of the mock interview can be arranged if required.
  • At interviews you find some questions hard to answer and never feel prepared enough for them.
  • You are not sure of your exact career goals.

I have many clients who went on to get the job they wanted, after a few sessions of coaching, peppered with goal setting, ego strengthening and self-hypnosis, relaxation and stress management techniques.  Although I can’t guarantee you will get the job, after at least one session if not two, you will be in a much better position to go after your goals.  You will learn a variety of ways to relax and to remain focused during your interview, whilst developing some practical interview skills.
